The  Man  of  Sin  is  Revealed

One thing is certain and that is before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ God will reveal the identity of “the man of sin . . . the son of perdition” who is a completely evil man.   He will be Satan’s tool, equipped with Satan’s power. (1 Thes. 2:9) This “lawless one” will be the ultimate Antichrist.  The apostle Paul wrote about this Antichrist in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.

1Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you,
2Not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
3Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
4Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
5Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?
6And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.
7For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
9The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10And with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12That they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness

The  Antichrist  sits  as  God
in  the  Temple  of  God

Brief  History  of  the  Temple  in  Jerusalem

The Temple Mount or Mount Moriah located in Jerusalem is the place that Solomon built the first Temple in about 950 BC (See 2 Chron. 3:1).  It was built over the site that Abraham most likely prepared to sacrifice his son Isaac (See Gen. 22:2). It was later purchased by King David from Araunah who was using it as a threshing floor, a place where grain was separated from straw.  God did not allow David to build the Temple because he had shed too much blood, so his son Solomon built the First Temple.

In 585 BC King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon destroyed the First Temple.  In about 515 BC Zerubbabel rebuilt the temple.  In 170 BC the King of Syria, Antiochus Epiphanes plundered the Temple and then sacrificed a pig on the altar. Daniel predicted this would happen. Antiochus is considered to be a type of the Antichrist.

In 20 BC, 43 years after Jerusalem was taken over by Rome, King Herod started a remodeling project on the temple.  In 70 AD Roman General Titus destroyed the second Temple thus fulfilling Jesus’ prophecy that not one stone would be left upon another. In 638 AD Jerusalem fell under Arab Muslim rule at which time the Temple Mount was buried under tons of debris.

Dome  of  the  Rock

In 691 AD the Dome of the Rock that still stands on the Temple Mount was built over the exact site where the Second Temple was once located.  Muslims believe Mohammed was raptured up into heaven on this same location. Over the next several hundred years Jerusalem was seized and captured, lost, regained by various peoples during the crusades. In 1918 the British gained control of the area, then called Palestine.  Finally in 1948 Israel again became a nation. In 1967 after the Six Day War, the Jewish people won the right to free control of the city of Jerusalem for the first time in over 2000 years, but the Temple Mount became under Islamic control.

Allah  has  replaced  God  in  the  Temple  and
Mohammed  has  replaced  Jesus  in  Pre-eminence

(as shown by the Quranic Inscriptions
in the Dome of the Rock)

The Mosque/Shrine is designed and built on an Octagonal (8 sided) shaped Plan. There are Inscriptions on the 8 Inner and 8 Outer faces of the Walls in the Arcade.

Many Inscriptions are Quotations from the Qu’ran written in Arabic scripts.  Here is a typical Inscription (translation).

There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. Say: He is Allah, One, Allah, the Everlasting, who has not begotten and has not been begotten. He is without equal. [Qur'an 112] Muhammad is Allah 's messenger, may Allah bless him.

The Antichrist has already been revealed by
the Inscriptions inside the Dome of the Rock
·     The Antichrist who is the “man of sin” and “son of perdition” has proclaimed to the world that “There is no god but Allah alone, without partner.”

"Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."  (2 Thes. 2:4)  The Antichrist and his followers do not recognize Yahweh, the God of Israel and the Christians as God, and he has replaced Him with “Allah”.  He is the only one who claims to be God and is sitting in the (former) Temple of God.

·     The Antichrist denies that Jesus is the Son of God. He wrote: “Allah, the Everlasting, who has not begotten and has not been begotten. He is without equal.” “Praise to Allah who has not taken a son and who does not have any partner in dominion.”
·     The Antichrist proclaims: “Muhammad is Allah's servant and His messenger.”
·     The Antichrist proclaims: “The true religion with Allah is Islam.”

Mohammed,  the  Founder  of  Islam
is  the  Archetype  of  an  Antichrist

·     Mohammed claims that through the angel Gabriel Allah dictated the Qur'an to him.  The Qur'an teaches many things that contradicts what the Holy Bible teaches about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Here are some examples:
·     Sura 19:20,34,  “Jesus praised his birth and then said, “I am the servant of Allah.” And Allah teaches, “It is not for God to take a son unto Him.” Here we have Jesus speaking denying everything He said in the Bible concerning Himself.
·     In Sura 10:68-70  They say: “God hath begotten a son!” - Glory be to Him! He is self- sufficient! His are all things in the heavens and on earth! No warrant have ye for this! say ye about God what ye know not? Say: “Those who invent a lie against God will never prosper.” A little enjoyment in this world!- and then, to Us will be their return, then shall We make them taste the severest penalty for their blasphemies.”  Mohammed denies Jesus is the Son of God.
·     Sura 5, section 16, verse 119, reads: “And behold! God will say: “O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, “Worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of God”? He will say: “Glory to thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, though I have not known what is in thine. For thou knowest in full all that is hidden.” Mohammed denies Jesus is God.
·     Any Muslim who believes Jesus Christ is God has committed the unforgivable sin, that will send him to hell. Sura 43:59 states “Jesus was no more than a mortal whom Allah favored and made an example to the Israelites. They are unbelievers who say God is Messiah, Mary’s son.” Mohammed is indeed a false prophet and an Antichrist in the very sense of the word.  Since the Bible states there are many antichrists therefore today's teachers and followers of Mohammed are also the antichrists (1 Jn. 2:18).

The Antichrist will be destroyed when
the Lord Jesus Christ comes again

“And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” (2 Thes. 2:8)
May  God  bless  you
