A Holy God will not allow

even one sin to enter Heaven

At one time I worked as a planner and designer of “Clean Rooms” for the research and manufacture of micro-computer chips.  Clean rooms must be microscopically free from dust particles and other debris.  A speck of dust can contaminate one chip and then spread to others, and if left unchecked all the chips will have to be thrown away. Millions of dollars will be lost.  Before entering the clean room researchers must go through the decontamination process.  They put on anti-contamination wear consisting of plastic boots, special gowns, caps, gloves and respiratory protection covering for the mouth and nose.  They enter a pressurized vacuum chamber where every bit of dust particles is eliminated.   They wait at a dedicated entry with airlocks, sealed utility hook ups and sterilized exhaust.  Inside the clean room there is stringent positive ventilation.  The air-filter system is 99.9995 percent efficient in removing particles from the air.  If the persons who enter the clean rooms on earth are required to be totally free from contamination, imagine what degree of cleanliness God would require from those who enter Heaven.  Here is what God has revealed in His Word.

“But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” (Rev. 21:27)

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.  But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” (Rev. 22:14-15)

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived.  Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” (1 Cor. 6:9-10)

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Gal. 5:19-21)

Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” (Mt. 5:8)  “Pursue peace with all men, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.” (Heb. 12:14)  Heaven is the perfect abode of the most holy God who will not allow even one sin to enter therein.  Our Lord Jesus said, “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Mt. 7:48)  Heaven is the eternal residence of “the spirits of just men made perfect.” (Heb. 12:22-23)
